Eastleigh 10k - the home of the PB - celebrates its 32nd anniversary with new sponsorship!
Hendy Ford announced as new sponsor replacing B&Q
The Hendy Ford Eastleigh 10K - the biggest 10k in the the south will take place on Sunday 20 March at 9am.
Sponsored by Hendy Ford, runners will pour into the borough from throughout the UK and abroad and compete for nearly £4000 worth of prizes in the event that will be held around the streets of Eastleigh.
New for this year will be a commemorative medal and technical t-shirt for all finishers!!
The event is renowned as a fast, flat course and as the 'home of the PB' is an ideal opportunity to record personal and seasons best times.
Running Mania and Eastleigh Running Club are proud to present the 2016 Hendy Ford Eastleigh 10K Road Race
• 10k start time 9am
• 10K Road Race for ages 15+ 10K
• Fun Run for 4 to 12 year olds held around Fleming Park
• The Fun Run starts at 11.00am
• The 10K race will feature Chip Timing
• Commemorative t-shirt and medal for all 10K entrants (t-shirts - XS, small, medium and large and XL sizes will be available)
• Commemorative medal for all fun run entrants
• Ample parking, baggage area and shower and toilet facilities
The races will be held under the UK Athletics rules. Race Permit Number: tbc
This year’s race is supporting the Mayor of Eastleigh’s Charity Appeal, Wave 105’s Cash for Kids appeal and WaterAid Zambia”.
